 About Anthony Van Kooten

Anthony has been working in the roofing industry for over 20 years. After realizing his passion for the trades at a young age, Anthony decided to take a leap and start his own company in September 2008.

Growing up in Georgetown provides Anthony with unique insight into the Halton Hills community. Living and working within the same town facilitates a deeper connection with those seeking support from VK Roofing – to be able to provide quality services to the community in which he grew up, and where he is now raising his own children, has been a gift!

In his spare time, Anthony enjoys spending time with his young family, playing badminton at a local club and watching professional football!

Since 2008, our family-owned and operated business has been meeting the needs of homeowners in the Halton area. We offer a diverse selection of quality, brand name products from reputable suppliers that offer the best available warranties.

We do not employ sub-contractors. All staff are licensed, insured & covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) & trained and certified in Working at Heights. We consistently follow the OHSA & Working at Heights protocol of using safety ropes.

VK Roofing is certified in Ventilation, Attic Insulation and Asphalt Shingle Roofing. We are also manufacturer trained in Metal & Flat Roof installations.

Constant improvement and skill development is important in roofing to remain up-to-date in techniques and technology, for the benefit of customers. Owner, Anthony Van Kooten, continues to take roofing courses and programs to complement his knowledge gained while working in the field including NAIMA training and courses with the International Institute of Building Enclosure Contractors.

We view the roof system as a whole & ensure all components are working together effectively!
