ABOUT KATE CARNEY

Kate is an owner and artistic director at TRENDZ Hair Studio. She holds several industry certifications including her masters in colouring, cutting, and special occasion hair. Kate has a passion for international training and has taken her and her staff to places including Mexico, Paris, London, Miami and she looks forward to continuing each year in a new place for training. The TRENDZ stylists range in levels from Apprentice and junior stylists to intermediate, senior, master stylist, as well as Kate and her business partner Angela as the Artistic Directors of the Studio

Taking ownership in their industry, owners, Angela and Kate work hard to promote the hair styling profession within the community and strive to elevate that profession to its rightful, artistic and creative place. Georgetown TRENDZ has been operating under the guidance of Angela and Kate since 2006.Our creative team of artistic designers range from young talent to master stylists. Highly educated with a passion for learning, the team continues their artistic growth in all aspects of the hairstyling industry, through continuing professional development. Your stylist can educate you on how best to keep your style or the integrity of your colour at home with our professional line of Goldwell and KMS products.
